This is a great high output moving coil cartridge from Ortofon. has greater than .2 mv of output voltage, so can be used into any moving magnet phono stage. This one was stored away for a bit, so I sent it to Andy in Seattle for an evaluation with some other cartridges I had needing retip. Andy examined and cleaned it, said that it had 60% to 70% of its stylus life left, and would not retip it. Says it is in excellent shape. That is a solid number, not some hey I played it 50 hours and the prvious owner said he put 100 on it, that everyone seems to say on their used cartridges.
This comes with a high quality line contact stylus, has 14 dyne compliance so works with medium mass tone arms, and tracks between 1.25 and 1.5 grams.
Comes with box, paper work, and stylus guard. The guard has a slight crack that is repaired, but it does work properly.
