Bda1, sp1.7 and j river

Bda1, sp1.7 and j river

Hi all.  I jut got jriver working on my pc in comjuction with my sp1.7.  All sounds great but I'm not sure I'm using the best settings.  Can I , should I be using the pcm out in jriver.  Does the bda1 have support for dsd?  Should I be using the usb or optical for music.  Does anyone know the end all be all best setting in j river for what I have.

No DSD support for the BDA-1.  Go to JRiver settings and adjust the output (tools, options, audio DSP and output setting) settings for above 192kHz to 176.4kHz.
