Tull opening for Mountain and Jeff Beck - Now look at the music scene today - nothing that could touch a bill like that! Such a great time to have been a young concert goer.

Martin Barre cites Leslie West as an influence on his early style - they are to great guitarists who obviously admired one another and remain friends today.

Wow! Great line up MttBsh.

It was the summer of '70 and  I was lucky to be in the 7th row at Tanglewood in Lenox MA to see It's A Beautiful Day, Jethro Tull, and The Who.

A veritable uncorked symphony of stinkiness

Did someone say symphony? If it's symphony, I am all in.

OP, Great write-up, BTW. :thumb:

#6 please.

Thanks.

Hey Vinyl Lady:
Does this mean we have to have joint custody (if 25 comes up).
I want every other weekend and holidays.

I was too lazy to research what was available first time around. So I had to do it now with twice as many numbers to work around. Put me down for #48 please.

Thanks Dave!I guess I am going blind. I always have trouble with these grab a number deals.

How about 17 if it has not already been taken?

Thanks for offering this deal.

The wiener.
Just in time to add extra blast to the 4th of July celebration, it is my unhappy responsibility to inform MCA that #10 was the first number drawn in last night's NYS Lotto and thus he has won the Steve Wilson 4 disc set of the fartastical Passion Play. My condolences. MCA, if you pm me with your mailing address I'll have it in the post posthaste. And as a fartastical bonus, I'll include an extra burned disc of interest, purely for research purposes, as well as a coupon for $1 off GasX.

Others take heart. There's more to come. The next fartastical karmic giveaway will happen next month when some unlucky ACer will win an early, NM pressing of the 2 lp set that is known as .... Umma Gumma, the godfather of all things prog fartastical, a real stinkeroo. P + U = PU. May I not be judged too harshly in the afterlife for my role as an enabler.

Thanks to everyone for playing. Have a safe and relaxing 4th.

Cheerio,
KP

Be careful with that axe, Kenneth.

Your copy alone worth reading for it's entertainment value... forget the fartastical swag.

Thanks for the offering, and letting me play.  :thumb:  Your editorials deserve national recognition.  :D  And in case there is a reserve # list, I'll take 22 for the upcoming spectacular.  8)

Congrats MCA.   :banana piano:

Congratulations (?) MCA and thank you so much, Kenneth Patchen.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to stretch my legs and get a little fresh air.
