A like new authorized dealer demo that I've owned for about 2 weeks. I wanted to see if using a preamp with my Directstream DAC would be a better match for the system since I use both the RCA/XLR outputs but I now realize a preamp isn't necessary due to my amp gain/speaker sensitivity. The Isabella offers a 0 gain/12db gain switch for perfect system matching. This pre is absolutely dead quiet since it can run completely off the grid and is super transparent. I really couldn't tell if it was in the system or not - that's a pretty hard thing for a preamp to be so neutral sounding. The sound can of course be tailored with your choice of tubes - it uses 2 6922/6DJ8 family tubes or the 6H30. Condition is like new and includes the automatic charger and alloy remote. This is a very nice pre that I wish I needed
