I'm bringing my standard 2 I take everywhere.
They are already etched into my head, so make it easy across the board of the stuff I like to hear.

Heritage- Darol Anger
Beyond the Missouri Sky- Pat Metheny/Charlie Haden
And quite decidedly, some Jerry Garcia live work.

Definite standards I listened to since before getting 'enlightened' to the kind of gear we listen to now.

Looking forward to what others bring to the party as well.

See ya there!

Hopefully, I won't do the same (I'm not heading west until the morning).  Feel free to borrow it.

Any tricks to getting the hotel internet connection going?

To get that internet connection going, it starts with
"Kick Out The Cash!"  (Didn't MC5 do that?)
$9.95/day!  But although I haven't checked at the desk, I think unlimited local and long distance US calls come included, according to this thing in my room.
Nah, I brought my peecee, along with my network cable, plugged it into the box in the room.  That box will take USB, cat5 network, or modem cable.  On the phone, they will tell you wireless in the rooms too, if you have your laptop.  Dunno on that one; don't have a laptop.
ANyway, hook it up, hit the browser, and you go to a page that the hotel has and that is where you can read the disclaimers and tell them to put it on your bill. And definitely, if you need a network cable, bring yours.
The one promised hanging in my closet wasn't there. 'S'okay. Brought mine.
The lamp on the 'desk' has two outlets in case you forget your power strip.
Or you can go talk to the front desk.
Easy as pie, and my local mail I use Outlook Express on (charter) came thru as well.
Piece of cake!

Looking forward to meeting, once we all find a way to figure out who each other is.
See ya here!
