Just saw the announcement on the teres website, they are gonna unveil the new 360 model at RMAF.  Any guesses to what it's gonna look like.  I can't imagine something even more massive than a 340!!

I watched two men struggle to carry the 340 to set it up, I can't imagine something bigger & better than the 340 :o

From what I head the base of the 360 weighs in at around 80lbs. :o I am looking forward to seeing and hearing Chris's latest creation.

Chris will be working on finishing this up this week.

I will be going up to see him today. I will see if I can smuggle a camera in.

The rumors I hear are something about two tonearns and lots of brass.

I must be some kind of savant. My previous post asked incredulously why not make a hundred pound platter or two hundred or 500 lbs and be done with it,well it looks like chris took my advice.

I just returned from Teres World Headquarters. The 360 is not completely fininshed. What I did see was beyond anything Chris has done before. The base of the platter is now a ring of brass about 1 to 1 1/2" thick with Cocobolo on top of that. The motor pod is also Cocobolo with a brass trim ring on top. The base was being worked on when I was there. It will be similar to the 340 but with Brass assemblies to hold the shot and it will be made for two tone arms.

Two cartridges!

Different tonearm and cartridge combinations sound different. For jazz you may like one set-up and for classical another.
