Hi,

Good luck with your sale on these great speakers.  Your selling them for a very reasonable price so I hope you sell them easily.  I upgraded from HT2's to HT3'S in 2013 and I can support your statements regarding the speakers SQ.  My speakers use the aurum cantus ribbon tweeters which are not as good as the world class RAAL ribbon tweeter.

I use pair of Spread Spectrum Technologies Ampzilla 2000 second edition amps which cost $9000US.  The HT3's raise to the occasion overtime that I make an improvement in my system.  This was Jim's best speaker until the last couple of years.

Rod,

Thank you for your post.  Yes, these HT3's are very underrated, and I have enjoyed them immensely.  Have been asked a few times if these speakers and get down and deliver kick ass, hard rock, music.  That's like asking the Pope if he is catholic.  The real question is: Do these speaker convey highly detailed sound stage imaging and depth? And the answer is a resounding yes, and it is world class.

I would like to know what amp you are using to drive these wonderful speakers?  Thx!

indigoblue,

I powered the HT3's with and Audio by Van Alstine  600R hybrid amp (it kicks ass, +300 watts per channel).  Then for the past 3 months I have powered them with a Primaluna Dialogue Premium High Power tube amp (84 watts per channel).  The Primaluna can match the sound pressure levels (volume) output that I was getting with the AVA amp.

Hope this answers your question.
