Late to the party... my first cognitive exposure to Mr King was on U2's Rattle and Hum - "When Love Comes to Town." At that time, I thought that was The Edge on vocals.
When I found out is was B.B. King, I became an instant fan. IMO his voice was every bit as good as his guitar.
