I'd suggest culling out the most collectible/valuable and selling them on EBay or here, and find a young/poor audiophile to give the rest to, or donate them. Of course you could tell us what you've got and we can make offers
Also you can look at popsike.com. It catalogs what records have sold for on eBay.
so, what DO you have and where about are you located?
Too bad there's not a vulture emoticon
oh c'mon. Just checking. If this was in my backyard, I'd love to go have a look. Pretty sure most of us would. A real vulture would have PM'ed the guy to weasel his way in -- I'm asking in the wide open.
Hey fellas. It's all okay. No offense taken. Won't sell until I have some idea as to what things are worth anyway. Doesn't appear that it will be all that much. Southern Wisconsin . . . great brewery 2 miles away
That's too often how it ends up.Discogs is great, but it can be a hassle. It will take a long time to sell LPs individually. Also, there is always the chance that a buyer, ends up returning LPs that they feel aren't as good as your rating... happens. Best case scenario if you are looking to get them all out the door, is to find a collector who or store that agrees to a bulk price. Try contacting both big city dealers and small market shops. Perhaps you could pull a few of the more valuable ones to sell online and get a little extra cash back out of the investment. Good luck!
