I'm still not terribly sure what "reshelling" is, but if it means having in-ear 'phones rebuilt, I've had my Etymotics "rebuilt" 3 times (basically they send you a new set when the wires fatigue after 2-3 years). I finally broke down about 2 years ago and got earmolds made, which make them a lot more comfortable and also a lot less prone to wax clogging, but no real discernible change in sound. Last year when my ER4s died again, Etymotic changed their policy so instead of $50 to "rebuild" them they charge $180, so I decided to give their $130 HFS with Kevlar-reinforced wires a shot. The HFS sound quality is not quite as good as the ER4s, but still very good. So far the cables have held up.
