Hello , I ordered a bit 5 from audio advisor on 4/16/ i also ordered a few cables . the cables shipped the 16th and have arrived . aa does not give a estimated shipment date for the bit . Does Bryston ship directly to me ? if so any idea how long it takes ? Thanks,mike.

No we do not ship direct - it would come through AA.

FWIW - I picked up my BIT last week from a dealer.  It took about 2 weeks from the time it was ordered until Bryston shipped it to the dealer.  Then another 5 days by ground.  In your case  you have to include the additional time for AA to receive and process the unit then ship it to you.  i don't know where you live but my guess is you should receive the unit around 4 weeks from the date you placed the order.

That's probably a good estimate.  AA is good to deal with (I've ordered things that were a few dollars more than I could have gotten elsewhere just to have someone with real customer service who is knowledgeable at the other end vs. somewhere else).  I ordered a wider bridge not that long ago for my Salamander Synergy furniture that was not even on their website.  It probably was in stock at the manufacturer and from memory it was a couple of weeks give or take.

AA is great . Only place to get the Pangea products . They are one state over from me so shipping takes two days max.

I am sorry for the delay - we changed the faceplates and our supplier has screwed up - I would say another few weeks - my apology
