Oooh. 151 rum....I was suddenly reminded of something I tried with 151 rum when I was about 21 yrs old. Fortunately, what it was will remain a mystery on a public forum. 

Over-proofed rum can cause many embarrassing and unexpected situations if consumed irresponsibly.  If caution is used (may require somebody you trust to regulate consumption) it is a fine beverage. Jamaica has a fine selection of over-proof rum, in the states Wray & Nephew is one of the few decent ones. It gets the party started quickly! I'm sure you didn't do what I hear college students do now, eyeball shots. They call it eyeballing!
