A lot is happening in the Tucson vinyl world this Saturday:

Wooden Tooth Records, a new record store is opening on 4th Avenue this Saturday. Located in the back room of Cafe Passe, this should be fun espresso fueled browsing with 7,000 used records with about 3,000 priced at $1.99 and the rest at $4 to $16.

For Giant Sand fans Zia Records at 3370 E. Speedway Blvd., Howe Gelb will be performing live at 4 p.m. You can also pick up the brand new "Heartbreak Pass" LP in advance of its national release or the 30-year anniversary re-issue of Giant Sand's first album "Valley of Rain", Gelb will be signing records at the event this Saturday too.

And finally PDQ, located at 2432 N. Dodge Blvd., Tucson's largest used record store will be open from Noon until 6 p.m. after being locked up for 4 years.
