I'm the original owner of this one year old integrated amplifier. MSRP was $9850. It has a very good phono section in the #1 input. There are 3 other inputs, 2 of which are balanced. There are also 2 pairs of preamplifier outputs, one balanced and one RCA. Output is rated at 400 watts per channel. What is not mentioned in the following link is that the Continuum utilizes Pascal amplifier modules. I'm told this amplifier will stand up very well against any other amplifier made, including Rowland's flagship models.

This Continuum S2 is the finest piece of audio equipment I have ever owned and it very likely will be the same for you. I would love to keep it but I'm afraid it has to be sacrificed as partial funding for an addition to our home. I have a Yamaha A-S2000 which will have to serve as replacement for now. It ain't half bad really but will not be up to equal replacement of my Rowland.

I know Jeff Rowland gets little mention on Audio Circle but that is not due to unworthiness. Jeff makes some of the best looking, best built, and highest performing equipment on earth. The ergonomics and pride of ownership intangibles elevate it to point of primacy, in my opinion.

I have the same amp and agree it's an amazing piece of engineering, mixed with unfailing musicality. I've had many amps in my day, including the likes of Naim, Aaron, LFD and many others, and the Rowland is in another league entirely.

Sorry you have to part with it, but the odds are very high th new owner will be delighted. Good luck with the sale.

I owned one of these as well, and I really loved it!  It is an incredible performer in an integrated package.  Good luck with the sale, I wish I could have held on to mine too!
