GROUP OF 6 JJ 300B VACUUM TUBES – 2 MATCHED PAIRS + 2 OTHERS
SOLD for the group (plus shipping and Paypal fee). Price seems quite fair and should be considered firm (until such time as I change it in the listing). Additional terms and conditions are provided below. Trade may also be possible, but my needs are very limited (see below).
I recently sold off the last of my 300B amps, so I am selling off the last of my 300Bs.
I strongly prefer to sell these as a group, and the price reflects that. If they do not sell after a reasonable amount of time, then I may decide to reprice based on pairs and singles (at a higher overall price).
I had these tubes as backups, and never used them myself. I originally picked up Tubes #1-5 as a group, and later added tube #6.
As can be seen from the photos, Tubes #1-4 and #6 come with the original JJ test certificates, the details of which can be seen from the photos.
Tubes #1-4 and #6 appear to be unused (or minimally used at most), which seems to correspond to the fact that I have the original certificates for those.
Tube #5 does have some slight discoloration of the flashing but, as shown by the test results below, seems to test close enough to Tubes #1-4 so that it could be used as a backup for any of those.
In addition to the information on the JJ test certificates, all tubes were tested for Gm and current draw on my Westmore 501 (gov’t version of Triplett 3444).
On the Westmore, the Gm reject point is 2800 and average new is 5500.
While there is no Westmore spec for plate current, the settings on the Westmore indicate that the test parameters are 250V plate and -45V grid bias.
The results are as follows:

All tubes were clean for shorts/leakage/gas.
As can be seen, the Westmore data for tubes #1-4 and #6 is reasonably consistent with the information on the test certificates, taking into account that the information on the test certificates was derived under slightly different conditions (300V plate and -61V grid bias).
Taking all the information into account, the pairs would be tubes #1 and #2, and tubes #3 and #4.

If I happen to have the information, I will provide it. If I can get the information in a reasonable way, I will get it. If I do not call a tube NOS, consider that tube USED. I also accept Paypal for convenience, but add 3% to use Paypal in the USA or 4% outside the USA. IF YOU PAY VIA PAYPAL, HOWEVER, A CONDITION OF YOUR PAYMENT IS THAT YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO FILE A PAYPAL CLAIM OR CHARGE BACK (but do retain the right to sue me in court should you so desire).
Trade is also possible, but my needs are very limited and it would need to be a pretty good deal. I might be interested in certain vacuum tubes (7408, 5992, 6106, new production 45, KT90, vintage 5AR4/GZ34, Euro 6J5G/CV1067/L63, GEC 807, or other tubes at the right value). If need be, I have other tubes and equipment that I can bring into any trade talks.
