I finally became tired enough of my existing rack to build something better. I needed a bit more height between shelves so the idea of something adjustable was very appealing. I built a double wide version of the flexy rack using 6 - 3/4" threaded rods and oak veneered MDF. The shelves are 46" wide and 19" deep. Overall height is 40". While I would have liked solid maple the budget wouldn't stand it at the moment. The veneer turned out pretty well, good enough to make the wife happy and since it sits in the living room that's mandatory. :) Now I actually have room to put the tuner back in the system.

Very nice Mike.

Hopefully I will have some time next week to come by and hear the system.

I hope we can connect. What day are you coming into town for the show? I am taking Thursday and Friday off from work, so if you're in town early let me know. I've already warned my wife that she will be suffering from a possible audiophile invasion.

Mike,

I get in on Thursday and take a red-eye home Sunday night/ Monday morning.

Let me talk to Sean and see what he has lined up.
