Indestructible 100wpc, high-current power amplifier. Basically in mint shape. Made in USA. If you need a great-sounding, solid, inexpensive amp that can drive planars, electrostatics, Thiels, or other loads that dip into the 2 Ohms range...well, look no further.

The input sensitivity is 100mV and the input impedance is 50K Ohms. This is an older amp (early 90's). It was serviced in 2008 and has been running without a hiccup. Very clean unit, and sounds excellent.

To my ears the 545-II is a little sweeter than the 555...and just as capable, in almost any real-world environment. Only reason for sale is migration back to tubes again (again).
