For sale - Core Audio Designs Black Walnut Speaker stands (10 months old in mint condition with original packaging) Retail $949, asking $500 plus shipping (Paypal fees included in $500). These stands are the best I have seen, design, quality, customer service and performance.  Mine are upgraded from the ones offered on the website.  They have the v2.0 leveling spikes (current) and the upgraded Pennsylvania Blue Stone is 2" thick verses 1.5" thick.  This was a $100 upgrade that increases the already stable/weighty platform base.  Improved anti-resonance as well as increased weight for heavy stand-mount speakers. The top plate is a machined composite of aluminum laminate (amazing quality).  The Applewood multilayered riser is laminated by black walnut veneer and is machined to the tightest tolerances.  They really are impressive and the photos dont do them justice.  They have a light "satin" sheen to the wood and blend nicely into a room.  The stands are height adjustable but are set perfectly for a mid-sized bookshelf speaker right out the box.  I used with a Fritz Carbon 7 SE (perfect match).
