CD Transport
« on: 14 Mar 2015, 04:54 pm »
Hi James,
I was thinking, if the idea of a new CD Player is on hold because not all at Bryston are on board with it. Would a CD transport work instead? Something similar to the BOT but without having to purchase a digital player to make it all happen. A high quality CD transport connected to one of your 3 DACs would work very well.
I still spin lots of discs.

I would only be interested if it's a one box player omitting the need for external wires. I hope  that the latest dac(double chip) :thumb: would be the one to use

Good to hear this may still happen. I do hope the player will have a tray of some kind and not a slot load. I liked Naim's idea of a manual tray...less parts but you can still find the disc. :thumb:
