I would have thought they would count for one cylinder per rotor, maybe two, since they're two stroke and would have twice as many power strokes per revolution. They are internal combustion, at least.

Actually 3 per rev, because there are 3 combustion faces per rotor. Every motorsports sanctioning body counted a 1.3L 2-rotor as a 3.6L V6. So if I cared about your silly piston game Bob, and I don't, I'd already have 18 And they're not 2-stroke, they just inject oil like a 2-stroke does.
