Anybody try Audience's Auric Illuminator (new version)?

Sorry, Zybar. I haven't tried it but I sure would like to keep your thread going. Otherwise, kinda like playing tennis by yourself (without a wall, even!).

From reading the description, it sounds a lot like what Herbie's grungebuster mat did for me. The gel probably has a lot to do with that...

I listened to the previous version of Auric Illuminator on a very resolving, perfectly setup system and heard a very little difference than without. So, I would hope the new version would be better.

Based on my limited knowledge, I'd say the added weight and dampening properties of the gel is the biggest helper.
