These look great.  Has anyone heard them (reviewed them) yet?

I'm confused; those look like 'buds to me...
The website doesn't help, describing them as 'a reference-grade open-back* in-ear headphone that sits comfortably on the outer ear'. If it 'sits comfortably on the outer ear', how can it be 'in-ear'?

By appearances, I'd expect these to have the same fit/sealing issues as the notorious ipod buds. I can tell you just by looking at my Ety custom tips that I do not have ear holes that are anywhere near perfectly circular, and neither does anyone else I've ever met. So we'll have to wait and see what the 'word on the street' is.

I agree, they appear to be a uniquely uncomfortable set of earbuds with the same positioning problems that the OEM iPhone buds have. I would rather have a dual balanced armature IEM.

Maybe I'm becoming an old fart, but I'm reluctant to drop hundreds of dollars on headphones from a company I've never heard of; I want a track record... Sennheiser, AKG, Beyer, A-T, Shure, Grado, and a few others... I'm pretty confident they'll be around in five years if I need an earpad, replacement cable etc.
