The Golden Gate was flat out incredible. We've been building extreme resolution speakers for a long time now, and I was still hearing levels deeper into recordings than ever before. And that in a room with a 62db (measured) noise floor! I wish I had the GG here at my house now that the Storms are back home.
The speaker guys usually get all of the credit. It's about time the source gets some love.
I kid, once dialed in those Storms were incredible. I'm so glad they're too big for my living room as I'd be tempted to take them off your hands.
