Just read Echo Hifi is looking at the Tri-Art Audio Pebbles TA-1 turntable.  Dagogo
has a review and it isn't real in-depth.  Who wants to be the first to try it and
report back?   

I like the way it looks and Dagogo is stating that it has lots of PRaT.  PRaT is a
quality that I think is very important to my enjoyment of music.  I would buy
one immediately if I wasn't constrained by my budget and the ability to return
it if I wasn't satisfied.

I saw the same review and am intrigued.  I was thinking it might make a good starter turntable for my daughter, then saw the price--definitely above what I would consider "starter" range.

Seems to me to be a terrific bargain.  If I were in the market, I'd jump on this like a duck on a bug.  I listen to vinyl almost exclusively- so do a lot of members in my local club- and these guys and one lady* spend oodles of money on their analog front ends.  Bought mine a very long time ago so I don't have to.  Something similar today would cost in the thousands.  But, wait, this right here is a pretty affordable alternative.  Nice reviews as well.
