Is there going to be a DIY event in Tx this year?

We haven't planned any as of yet.

But, once we get the Denver show behind us we may have several smaller get togethers with a bring what you have and DIY based focus.

I might do one here and maybe help host a couple in the Dallas area.

Look for details in the North Texas Audio Jam circle.

Right now the Denver show is the immediate focus, and about 7 or 8 of us from this area are going to that.

Great! I have been wanting to go to one of these but every other DIY speaker oriented event I'm aware of has been at least 1,000 miles from my house in Houston. I definitely would attend one in the Dallas or Wichita Falls area. There's a new DIY oriented audio group in Dallas whose members might also be interested.
