Nice.  8)
I was using those connectors in the mid 80's on R/C cars. That's where I learned how to solder, by the way.
That's also where I learned what a DC motor does when you wire it backwards, but that's a different story.
Glad you found what you needed man. Glad I could help. I do find it humorous that the LED lighting industry is using R/C connectors from a quarter century ago.
How much do they cost? I went through the "add to cart" process, but never did give me the price.
I'm sure they're cheaper than $7 a piece.

FWIW, I can only assume they use obscure connector so they can ask $6 ea...HA!

After some sleuthing, it turns out these are AMP / TE  Mini Universal Mate-N-Lok. Big name for a small connector. Less than $50 for 75 of 'em... housings, pins, sockets and a removal tool.

Thanks again for the help.

As an aside they seem to sometimes be referred to as Tyco connectors, an RC car brand, no?

Fantastic!
Glad I could help Peter, truly.

Tyco doesn't make "real" R/C vehicles that I know of.
Mainly slot car tracks and cheap toys. Certainly nothing R/C requiring a consumer serviceable power supply worthy of a cable connector like we're talking about.

That's an amazing price though, much better than $7 each. That would have been $525 for 75 of them!
Rock on Peter. Glad I could assist.

Actually Tyco is a big corporate thing from Switzerland.  They own ADT Simplex etc, etc.  They even lay fiberoptic on the ocean floor and they weight it down with the gold they are hiding from the IRS.   Or at least they could be :duh:  Don't want to offend anybody :thumb:

Called Tyco connectors because that connector was used on the pistol grip throttle guns on  Tyco slot car sets for years.  The other Tyco is unrelated to the slot car racer.
