It's winter and cold where I'm at so it's time to bring out the ice music! Norwegian Terje Isungset creates all his instruments in ice. It may not be for everyone, but I think it's more than impressive to hear the sounds he can create. If you like it, there are many more videos on youtube including some that shows how he makes the instruments.
https://youtu.be/UHhyQnazZPwI couldn't find a good video for my favorite song Fading Sun from the album Winter Songs, but below is one with a still picture. This has a slightly different feel to it than the live video above since it's a studio mix. In fact, this is one of my go to songs for speaker testing, and I highly recommend that you get a good quality version of it since the youtube version is missing some details. It really creates a wintery soundscape from up North with ice that sounds like bells, the cold wind and a lonely female voice. Make sure you listen to it on something else than a tablet or laptop since you literally will miss half the song since you need something bigger to reproduce the deep deep bass when the "fog" comes in. So crank up your big system with the double 15" subs, and watch your house crumble.
