A friend gave me a hybrid Tripath TK2050 Class D amp. It was made by a small company called Cathedral Sound. As it had a problem with the wiring of the preamp so I decided to rebuild it and make it into a straight amp.
It works great now but I really have no use for it. I am selling it for just enough to make it worth the effort. It would be perfect for a small system. I will include the RCA 12AX7 tube pre-amp board and all hardware which was originally included with the amp. The amp is in a metal case which has a couple of extra holes which are no longer used. The parts inside are good quality with 24,000 mf capacitance per channel and a very beefy toroidal transformer. Nice RCA jacks, speaker posts, fuse holder, and IEC receptacle in the back.
This is not a beauty but works well and sounds good. It has about 50 watts per channel at 8 ohms. Sold "as is" but will guarantee that both channels work on arrival.
Asking for $75 shipped to CONUS only. Will accept a check or PayPal.
Best,
Paul
