What's the difference ?
« on: 4 Feb 2015, 11:43 am »
Hi Danny,
what's the main difference(s) between the A/V-2 and A/V-3 and X-CS Classic,
I am interested in the differences in the drivers (M130) and tweeters.
Because to me, they look the same and seems to have the same drivers,
what about the x-over ?
But there is/are big price difference, so there must be something different.
Thanks.

The A/V Series kits use higher quality and more expensive crossover parts that must be point to point wired. And the cost of the kits are based on material cost. What the parts cost is what the kit sells for.

The X Series kits came from Colombia. The company in Colombia was manufacturing those speakers for AV123. When AV123 closed up then the manufacturer was left with all the product. So they sent it all to me and I have been selling them at about half of what they really should sell for in order to move them. I pay the manufacturer in Columbia as they are sold. So I am helping them recoup their investment. And they are a really good deal.
