SOLD !!!
This is a Lightspeed Attenuator passive preamp/volume control from George Stantscheff in Australia.  It is a volume control that used Light Dependent Resistors (LDR's) to control the volume level.  Well reviewed in various publications including Sam Tellig of Stereophile – it was a recommended component in 2012 and 2013.  The main theme of the reviews is the transparency of this component.  I certainly agree, preferring it over other volume controls I have used.  I have switched to an integrated tube amp, so I am passing this beauty along to someone else to enjoy.  An outstanding TeraDak U9 regulated linear power supply is included, which is clearly superior to the normal 12V wallwart.
