Is there any reason that I should not stack a BP26 and a MPS-2 together ?

Hi,

The answer can also be found in the BP-26 manual located here;

http://www.bryston.com/PDF/Manuals/300018[BP26].pdf

Page 4, bottom grey rectangle.

Quote;

"
Although all of the above specifications can be met regardless of whether the BP26 preamplifier
is positioned immediately above or below the MPS2 power supply, optimum performance
will be achieved when the power supply is positioned above the preamplifier

When I had a BP-26 I tried it both ways and could not detect any difference.  I placed the BP-26 on top because I thought it looked better that way.  It will be fine either way you go.

...nice preamp the 26 - and i'd like to know when it will be replaced since it is there around 9 years or so which is a pretty long time for a preamp in the hifi world.
