Friend is asking me to identify these, haven't seen them personally, looking for some help. Can't see any markings, he says the owner thinks they were made in the UK and the make starts with a "W", I can't think of it...

Picture one
Picture two
Picture three

Any info would be nice.

Thanks!

HI, two options come to mind:

Wharfedale, a traditional Brit speaker brand.

White Van speakers. These are typically very low quality speakers that you don't want to have.

Interested to hear who has better ideas.

they look similar to wharfedale speakers and that is the only british speaker manufacturer that I know of that starts with a W.

Dave,

In addition to Wharfedale Speakers, I came up with two other British speaker manufacturers that begin with the letter "W", although one of them is pretty obscure.

1) Wilson Benesch - fairly well known
2) Wilmslow Audio - fairly obscure, more known in the DIY crowd

I have no idea if the speakers you are asking about could possibly be from either of these two companies - sorry.
