Help with my modded TDA7297(SOLVED)
« on: 18 Jan 2015, 10:34 pm »
I have a problem with my modded TDA7297 as outlined here. http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=122152.0

Soldering pad has come off as pictured, and I need to see if there is any way to bypass this?  If possible I would like to use the potentiomter that is install rather than desoldering and starting new.

Would appreciate input from the gurus.

So is the potentiometer intact? The pad on the board is just an anchor so it doesn't matter. If the wire is making contact with the pot's leg, you're fine.

that makes sense, one channel is not working..., let me try to resolder wire-leg again and check it again.
