Can you estimate how many American Marines and coalition forces you saved?"I agree, he is an American hero. No doubt about it. He had a very tough job, and he did it.BTW Chris answered " I wished I could have saved more Marine's lives"
I don't think I can see this movie in the theater. I had a hard time handling Saving Private Ryan. I think I'll wait until the DVD comes out.....Wayner
I'll be watching it alone as well.Now some of you may have read about Michael Moorer's comments about snipers. His father was a WWII vet with a very low opinion of them. My father was also a WWII vet, 3 invasions and 7 campaigns with the 1st ID. He didn't think much of them either. "We never took them prisoner", he always used to say. Doc
