Small Nut & Bolt kit?

Anyone find a good one? I go to Ace, but it seems silly to spend $10 for a couple things, when I'm sure for a sum that isn't absurd I could have an assortment.

I gave up on FASTENAL. Too much for too little assortment. I used to have the best family hardware store near me, but like so
many others, those days are dwindling. ACE took over some of those and have prepackaged standard issue items. Nothing exotic at all. At least in my area, John Madden is wrong. ACE ain't the place!

Thanks PRELUDE. McMaster-Carr looks promising.

I get certain things from McMaster-Carr, but I didn't see any kits.

There's fastener places in town but they mostly service contracts or overly common large items. I can never find what I need it seems like; so I go to the Ace, which I don't like.

+1 for McMaster Carr.
Have purchased thousands of dollars of materials and supplies from them over the last 30 years and NEVER (not once) a mistake on their end.  Wish I could say the same for my end....

I got a 240 piece nut and bolt set on my last order from partsexpress. I wanted black so this worked well for me.http://www.parts-express.com/grip-tools-43164-240-piece-metric-nut-and-bolt-kit--365-174

I avoid PE when possible. At least once a year I encourage them to fire their webmaster... in various ways.
