Hey Bill.....Just posted. Used 20x HO, low hrs, good price.http://app.audiogon.com/listings/cartridges-dynavector-dv-20x-high-output-moving-coil-homc-cartridge-made-for-vpi-table-2015-01-24-analog-90066-los-angeles-caNo affiliation w seller, just a heads-up.
His pics are a bit dark, but it appears the mount holes are threaded. Version 1 (I own it) has unthreaded mounting holes, nut required. Version 2 has threaded holes. Also, v2 says 20x2 on the body. V1 doesn't have the final "2". I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe there are sonic, or any other, diffs. For awhile Dynavector was making "special edition" versions of 20x specifically for VPI. They had different markings on the cartridge body. Also, the output was only 1mV vs the normal 2.2. Be sure to confirm this with seller, as he says it is the VPI version and 1 mV will be too weak for your MM section. Dunno if the VPI special version was the v1 or v2.http://www.soundstagedirect.com/vpi-industries-dynavector-20-x-special-cartridge-turntable-accessories.shtml
Sold already. Knew it wouldn't last at that price.
Did you confirm that with seller? His ad says output is 2.5mV. More than enough.
