I was recently given a 12" Sonance sub, with a dead plate amp. I'm interested in using the sub for casual home theater use. Rather then trying to find a plate amp to fit the existing opening, I was thinking about just getting an inexpensive external amp to run the unit. Does anyone have a suggestion on a reasonably priced ($100 or less) amp that I could try? Thanks.
