I liked the comment about cutting records too hot from inappropriate masters / inexperienced mastering engeeneers. Maybe that explains some of the sibilance of late.  And this :

 

We do 180g vinyl!’ thing. But I’d rather have something good on lighter vinyl, than a 180g frisbee.”
