Any knowledge or information on Fried C-1 driver replacement,current driver has no brand or number, just sticker with NOV 1980 on it. Thanks ZAK

Try asking Salk, since he says he's carrying on the Fried tradition.
Those Fried Model C's were killer monitors, and with the mass loaded transmission line behind that driver, the mid/bass was wonderful and surprisingly deep.
There were at least 5 versions, don't know if the woofer changed during the run.

Thanks JLM, I'll pm Salk, maybe he knows someone to contact at Fried. Yes, they are some killer monitors, I also have the 10"sub cabinets, right now I have a pair of 626R on top of them, and they sound awesome. Thanks again. ZAK

From what I know, Salk has taken over the name "Fried". Don't know exactly what that means. He does offer a Fried "tribute" speaker.
