The speakers are a single driver design in a specially configured cabinet, referred to as the miniOnken. The drivers are the Mark Audio EL70. I believe these are designated as the mMar-Kel70 design. Price dropped to $200 plus shipping. These are very clean and natural sounding speakers with surprisingly tight bass. Vocals, jazz, acoustic instruments are vibrant, clear and transparent. They are not meant for loud, heavy, bass thumping music, but can be paired with a fast sub for extended bass.
These are in perfect sonic condition. The cabinets are finished in a deep reddish stain, and do have a few blemishes in different locations; but the overall appearance is quite respectable in my opinion.
