Sting's The Last Ship

Don't think there are many musical theater types around AC, but for those few, check out Sting's  The Last Ship.  Sometimes uneven, but some nice melodies and excellent lyrics.  When your wife is a theater teacher, and your daughter had a theater major, you finally get an appreciation of the genre.

I went to NYC on Friday and saw it. Very good.  I love musical theater.

I'm jealous.  I'd love to see it with Sting, but he has a limited engagement, and the cost to make it happen from TX is $$$$.  We looked at it but figured by the time we totaled the expense, it would be just under $2K.

Yeah that's a bit much. The only thing I can offer is my playbill.
