The current cost of these cables new is $450 for an eight foot pair. These are a bit more than one year old, but used enough to be broken in. The condition of these cables is excellent. There are no kinks or loose connections due to improper handling. In fact, once installed, they were never again removed until now, as I am upgrading/experimenting with a single-builder cabling system. These double shotguns of pure silver design yield incredible sound. The highs are well extended. As part of my tubed system they never sounded edgy. Transients are wonderful. I love the hard sound of the guitar or banjo string as it leaves the pick. Vocals, especially female vocals are breathy, and take my breath away. The bass is also extended and very tight. My own sense is that these are smooth and very musical.
$225 for these is a darn good deal. I'm sure you won't mind picking up the shipping.
