I bought my first component stereo system 50 years ago and since then countless changes (mostly upgrades) have been made.  I am now happy with my electronics and recently upgraded my speakers so I thought that's it.  That thought was fleeting though as I started thinking that I really need a new turntable.   Does it ever end?

  I began the long journey into hi-fi in 1967. It's been a very interesting trip through the 1970's Sony period but now since 2000 I have settled into  Bryston gear and with numerous tweaks to my speakers (1989) I have arrived , the quest has ended.   (Unless there's going to be a new CD player from James )   LOL
