Which Line stage to buy

Blue Circle BC3MKII
Pass X1 or 2.5 since it is cheaper
Ayre K5x or used K1x

Need a balanced line stage with HT pass through. Do not care about features or remote.

Sim Titan amp for 67 Hz up
Crown K1 67Hz down
DBX driverack digital crossover
Krell HTS 7.1 pre pro would be moved to HT only duties or maybe MC SACD if engineers ever get it right.

What would you recommend for musical, detailed preamp??

2 dealers have been nice enough to lend me equipment for demo.

This weekend I will have a Blue Circle BC103 and Ayre K5x. Anyone have a Pass X1 or 2.5 that they want to bring to Charlotte NC for a preamp shootout?

If so Sat or Sunday pick your day, time etc.

Here's the web site info for Aesthetix Calypso. I believe AC member Horsehead own's one...in a review of the SP Tech speakers, he mentions it in his equipement list..... http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=10168 . Might check with him for some further info.
