Onkyo TX-NR1010 reciever

Does anyone have any experience with this Onkyo? I've read some favorable reviews and it's priced pretty well for its power. It should work well with my Sony projector?

For random installations i have bought a TX NR 515 (two of them), a 700 series, all from Accessories4less.  I have had good luck so far.  I did buy the warranty with all of them as some are referbs. etc.  I have had the Integra's also, 40.2, 30.1, both hdmi boards went bad.  I'm happy with them for the price and what I need them for.

I have a 1008, which is the old place I used with my old Sony (VPLAW15) projector.  Worked nicely.  I too got it from accessories4less.  I original had an old Marantz 7300 OSE (orig spec ed) down there in a 6.1 system.  I got the Marantz in trade many years before that.  I tried a Pioneer 1120 first (have it in my current master bedroom system) but the room was big and it just was not a good match with my B&Ws and I decided to do 8.1 in the old place.  I had bought a used Integra pre/pro for the main system in the old place (had a BenQ projector at the time) when I went to a 2-channel preamp with HT Bypass and was impressed with it so I bought the Onkyo.  I'm currently using the 1008 in the main system (in the new place) with the 2-channel preamp with HT Bypass and really like it for HT (running 9.2 but have amps for the front 3 channels).

It looks like New Egg has them for a good price. Maybe someone will have a sale on them pretty soon. Isn't black Friday coming up?  This should make my Home Theater R O C K !!!

I'd save half my money and go for a Yamaha RX-V775 from Costco. Personally I'd be concerned about the HDMI failure problem with Onkyo.

At $1000 there's a bunch of options including Emotiva separates, Yamaha, Denon and Marantz.

+1 for Accessories4less.  Two subs and a Denon amp (refirbs).  Nice on-line vendor and the products have been first rate.  Packaged like new and perform the same.  OEM refirbs that is.
