I agree. It's very good. 2xHD and their sister Fidelio label are quite musical and audiophile at the same time.
I have struck up a nice relationship with Rene Laflamme, the recording engineer/producer for 2xHD. He just completed a fabulous analog-to-DSD128 transfer of the original analog tapes of Jazz At The Pawnshop; actually three individual transfers at DSD128, DSD64 and DXD (24/352.8k). Each transfer is direct, and Rene used a very high-end tube-based analog tape machine for the transfers. The results are amazing, and we put each of them up at NativeDSD.com for release in the coming days. (Note: yes, we feel direct analog-to-DSD is still considered "native" in that it never was a PCM recording).
