Couldn't find the IP address on the BDP via the front panel, although it does give the option to "revert to DHCP." Is that the best path forward?
Are you able to see on the front panel where the IP address should be, but it's blank?

You could also try and access it through a browser at
http://bryston-bdp-1.local to see if you can connect, but if the IP address is actually empty versus just having a either a self-assigned or different IP address than your network, you may not be able to.
If you can't, and if your router or modem/router is DHCP enabled and able to assign addresses , then sure, let it "revert to DHCP". Then you can get connected and can change back to a static address if you wish.
