I happen to see a system on audiogon that used the Krell HTS 7.1 (just like mine) but also has a Placette Audio Active Linestage in HT pass through.
I am not real sure how this is wired but I am interested in the benefit of using a dedicated 2 channel pre for music.
My system is actively bi-amped through a DBX DriveRack crossover which uses balanced connectors.
Would using a line stage (tube or solid state) be a noticeable improvement in sonics?
If so what line stages would you recommend that meet my needs. $8k and under.
