Hi Frank,

Could you please explain what the Rev5 upgrade is? I have a 550exR and a T7R.

Rev5 is essentially a rethinking and redesign of the interface between the 12AT7 tube and its companion power mos-fet in the transimpedance amplifier section of the audio boards. The end result is that the 350 and 550 amplifiers make more power under more conditions, and transparency and overall spekaer control is significantly improved.

The upgrade cost is $200 plus return shipping for any Fet Valve EXR amplifier plus $35 return shipping in the continental USA.
