Here is the pair of my DIY heavy duty speaker cables.
Each is 40 ft (one cable is about 1 ft longer) and made out of four 10 AWG conductors (413 strands x 36 AWG per conductor).
Wires are twisted for compactness and sturdiness and put in clear heat-shrink tube and then put in braided cable sleeve.
Gold plated banana plugs.
